The Butter Trade.
[Per Press Association! Melbourne, August 30. At the annual meeting of the Dairymen's Association the Chairman stated that during the past season there had been shipped twelve thousand tons of butter valued at a million sterling. Resolutions were adopted urging the Government to mafce better provisions for freight, establish a dairying board of advice, proper inspection of herds, and regular shipments.
