Land for Settlement.
I Per Press Association Wellington, August 19. The sitting of the Court for hearing and determining the demand made by Goverment for compulsory acquisition of the Ardgowan Estate near Oauaaru uuder the Land for Settlement Acfc has been fixed to take place at Dnnedin on the 2nd proximo. The Court will be constituted as follows : — Mr Justice Williams will oreside, and will have the assistance of Mr Donald Reid (representing the company owning the estate), and Mr B. Bay, C E. (on behalf of Government).
