Those Spooks!
Professor Davis, who opens in the Assembly Rooms on Friday next, is thus spoken of by the Melbourne Argus ; — " It is certainty the roost marvellous exhibition we have ever witnessed, and it was quite evident at last night's performance that the professor had gained ihc good opinion of the Melbourne public, as at the conclusion of the performance the whole of the house rose and cheered the performer loudly." Prof. Davis will be assisted by Madame Stella Davis, who gives remarkable clairvoyant tests, answering with accuracy questions merely thought of by any person in tho audience — questions which could not, by any possible means, have been known to her beforehand.
