Cricket News.
(Per Press Association). Sydney, August 10. A hitch has occurred in connection with tho sending of a cricket team to Eng{iUK? next season, and! the arrangements have been abandoned. As no invitation was received from the Marylebone Cricket Club in view of the Counties, and Marylebone having agreed to arrange the necessary matches, it is apparent that the latter had taken it for granted that the team was going without invitation. Both tho Sydney and Melbourne associations are unable to send a team without being asked.
