The Wool Market.
O (Per j. J ress Association). Nkw Yokk, August 1. It is stated that several of the leading warehouses at Washington have been advised to advance the price of woollen goods 10 per cent, as the present rise in wool in London is liia'ly to be permanent, and the fabric will consequently be scarce. Murray, Roberts mid Co. have received the following wool marker cablegram fcam their London house, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., dnti-d LJOth July : — " Sales have closed verj' firm ; ;]4,000 bales held over."
