The following cablegram has been received by the N.Z.L. and M. Company : Wool — The sales progress steadily. In- • ferior greasy merinos and crossbreds are slightly weaker. Foreign buyers are operating with confidence. The total quantity caialogued to date is 274,000 bales, 16,000 bales of which have been withdrawn.
