Mr R. E. Beckett reports at Marton — My yards were well filled on Friday with sheep and about 80 head of cattle. Hoggets were well represented and sold under the hammer at a marked advance on old prices. Wethers also sold well. I yarded 5000 sheep and sold nearly allCattle— Fat cows, £4 to £5 7s ; 3-year steers, 5s ; milch cows, £4 to £6 12s 6d. Sheep— Hoggets, 4& 3d to 6s lid; fat and forward wethers, 9s 6d ; ewes in lamb, 3s 3d to 7s 2d ; fat ewes, 6s 5d to 7s 6d.
