The Canterbury Metropolitan Trot- | ting Association to-day considered ' the action of the Auckland Trotting Club with respect to the Edwards and * Mcßride disqualifications. In the former case it was decided that the explanation of the Auckland Club ] was not satisfactory, and resolved to \ suspend operation of rule 70, so far as t that Club is concerned, till further notice. The effect will be to disqualify ] owners, drivers, riders and horses who ■ take part in meetings under the Auck- * land Club's rules from taking part in i meetings under the rules of the j Canterbury Association. With re- ] spect to the Mcßride case, the Association resolved that it saw no rea- 1 son to take action in regard to his 1 disqualification by the Auckland Club. \
