TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, —My attention has been drawn to a paragraph in your paper which has led the public to believe that the poundage on the new £5 postal note is 2s 6d. As the charge is 6d, and the impression calculated to restrict the issue in this district, would you kindly givo publicity to a correction ? I am, etc , Jas. H. Stevens. Feilding, July 16tb, 1895.
