Sad Death of a Sailor.
(Per Press Association:) Melbourne, This Day. Details of the accident on board the S. D. Carlton, shows that tne watch, the chief officer, was laterally choked tc death in the presence of the crew. He being pinned between tbe deckhouse and wheel house. Webster, who was lost overboard, is reported to have a wife and family in Wellington.
