A RISE IN SHARES. | Per Press Association! ArcKLAND, July 5. The Waihi Silverton shares were allotted to-day on the local register at the race of 40s for each 100 Silvertons. Twenty.five shillings were at once offered for the new shares with no sellers under 28s. A cable message has been forwarded to London stating that the ore from the winze shows free gold of an average value of £9 10s per ton. Shares have consequently advanced to buyers at 31s and no sellers. Waitakauri shares, which sold at .£2 13s 6d this morning, had advanced to £3
