At an inquest at Picton yesterday concerning the death of Thomas Gullery, a verdict was returned that doath was -j caused from compression of the brain, resulting from rupture of a blood vessel through a fall caused in the Ship Hotel by a blow delivered by George Harris, . and that the jury was of opinion that uo , bodily harm was intended, A rider was X added tbat gross neglect was shown by- , the landlord of the Ship Hotel in not r taking prompt remedies after the unfortunate occurrence. t
