Football News.

« _ . A Senior Cup match will be played on the Oval on Saturday afternoon betweeu teams representing the Feilding and Pirates Clubs, and will be the most interesting match' of the season, as the fate of the Clubs will depend on the result of the match. The Pirates Club is now leading tho Feilding aud Palmerston Clubs by one point, and should they win are almost certain to win the championship, as there will then be only two more matches to play, while if Feilding lose, their chances of securing the coveted position at the end of tho season will be very small. Both Clubs are putting their ■trongest teams in the field, and all that is wanted for a good display of football is fine weather. The match will start at three o'clock, and should attract a large attendance as it is the last senior match to be played at Feilding this SAnsnn.
