Mr Nathan's Frozen Meat Scheme.
(Per Press Association). Christciiurcii, June 13. At a meeting of the Canterbury A. and P. Association to-day, letters were received from kindred bodies suggesting that Government should be asked to convene a conference of representatives of the A. and P. Association and similar Soc.eties to discuss the frozen meat trade and Mr Nathan's scheme. After some discussion, in which the opinion that Government should not be asked to take the initiative.it was resolved — "That if in the event of the conference of delegates from A. and P. Associations being held to consider the frozen meat question, this Association should he represented and if such conference is called, a special meeting of the committee should be convened to appoint delegates."
