Floating Gold Mine Debentures.

Tenders wero opened for £150,000 worth of Mount LyeU debentures. £171,000 was subscribed at prices ranging from par, which was the minimum fixed, to 105£. £66,000 were ofEered at rates above par. An application in the Supreme Court, on behalf of certain shareholders, to restrain the issue of these bonds was partly heard. The objection is not to floating the loan, but to the proposal that the debenture holders should have the option of surrendering the debentures and receiving shares in exchange.
