Pearce, Colyton, suggesting a trial of milk [craters and coolers at the Bhow.— It was arranged to have a milk coolers competition, Messrs Knight, Luxford, and Lancaster to arrange details. Mr Gillies moved a motion to the effect that the annual show be held on the Bth and 9th of November, and that the motion passed on May 11th that the dates be the 23rd and 24th of October be rescinded. Seconded by Mr Dalrymple. On being put to the meeting the motion was lost on the casting vote of the Chairman. It was decided to give £600 lls in prizes (exclusiva of two 25 guinea cups and one of 10 guineas. — Standard,
