The Child-Murder Cases

I PEE PBE3S ASSOCIATION.! Invercarqilli, June 8. At the Court Mr Poynton committed Minnie Dean for trial for the murder of Dorothy Edith Carter and dischargd Charles Dean. There was no evidence at all against the husband and he left the Court without a stain on his character. The police were, however, justified in arresting him, as they did not know what evidence might turn up. Mr Han* lon, solicitor for accused, admitted the police acted fairly and were entitled to credit tor the way they had worked up the case. Dean shook hands with his solicitor and left. The wife will be tried at the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
