Golf Club.

A meeting of members of the Golf Club was held at the Feilding Hotel on Saturday. Present — Messrs Burnett, Coote, Sandilands, Francis, Dickson, Hayne, French, Gibson, and Lloyd. Mr Sandilands was voted to the chair. Messrs Coote and Burnett were elected a ground committtee, with instructions to have the links and greens prepared immediately. It waa resolved, That the rules of the Hutt Golf Club be adopted. The Colonial Bank was appointed the bankers of the Club. Resolved, That the subscription be 218 for gentlemen and 10s 6d for ladies. Messrs Uoote, Sherwill, and Sandilands, were appointed a management committee. Mr Hayne was elected secretary.

Any person wishing to join is requested to communicate with the secretary. Mr E. Feck has been appointed local agent for golf sticks, balls, and requisites. The contract for preparing the green has been let to Mr H. Worsfold.
