The Frozen Meat Trade.
(Per Press Association). Woodville. This Day. Mr D. J. Nathan addressed a large meeting on his frozen meat scheme. Amongst those who spoke was W. H. Nelson, of Nelson Bros. He supported the proposals for consolidation and control, but doubted the possibility of combining the retail business at Home with the scheme. A resolution was passed calling on the Government to convene a conference to discuss the frozen meat question. The meeting was an enthusiastic one.
