Imperial Politics.
(Per Press Association.) Londog, May 30. Lord Rosebery, in introducing the Colonial Judges Bill, said that at present the Privy Council contains only one judge of colonial and one of Indian experience. Colonial cases were increasing in number, and he believed two or three of the largest colonies would depute Judges to attend. He had great hopes that the efficiency of the Council would be increased by the Bill. The County Council in Ireland Bill was read a second time in the House of Commons. The election for the vacancy! of West Edinburgh, caused by Viscount Wolincr succeeding Earl Selborne, took place today and resulted in the return of Mr Mclvor, the Unionist conclidate, who defeated Mr Elibank, Liberal, by 708 votes.
