The Hon. Mr Ward in England
(Per Press Association). London, May 29. At the instance of the Government, Mr Ward is inviting tenders /or the construction of a cable steamer for New Zealand. She is to have a speed of fourteen knots, and will be built under the guidance of Mr W. H. Preece, the well known elect trician. The vessel will probably cO--5£25,000. Mr Ward states that his Govornment is willing to submit to arbitration the questions in dispute with the New Ply* mouth bondholders.
