A young woman named Madge Robinson, formerly a barmaid, threw herself into the harbor to-night, but was rescued and will be charged with attempting suicide. At the City Council to-night a motion for establishing a City market and also one for having a paid permanent Fire Brigade, the cost to be defrayed by the Corporation Fire Insurance Companies and the Government, were referred to a committee. Burglars broke into the Museum last night and stole specimens mostly of goldj valued at £50. Geo.
