t At the meeting of householders last 3 evening, Mr W. Cunningham was voted ■ to the chair, The report expressed re- . gret at the death of the chairman, Mr , Benson, and referred to sundry repairs that had been effected to the school and 1 grounds. It also expressed satisfaction • with the percentage of passes at the > last examination. The balance-sheet • showed the receipts for the past year i were— Credit balance April 1894, £1 8s 3£d ; receipts for all sources, £8 10s ; I total, L 9 18s 3§d. Expenditure, L 6 Is ' 2d, leaving a credit balance of L 3 |17a 2£d, but there are accounts outstanding that will absorb this balance. The following gentlemen were elected a committee for the ensuing year: — Messrs Ross, Woodman, Fitton, Bismarck, Paul, Irwin and Phyn, The newly-elected committee appointed Mr Ross chairman.
