THE BEHRING SEA DISPUTE. SIR HENRY LOCH. DRAWN INTO THE VORTEX. (Per Press Association). Ottawa, April 3. The Canadian Government protests vigorously against the American proposal for aa international conferonce on the Bebring Sea fisheries as subversive of the award of the Arbitration Court at Paris. London, April 4. Sir Henry Loch is regarded as certain to be appointed Governor of New South Wales unless the salary is reduced. Calcutta, April 4. Sir Alex. Mackenzie, Chief Commissioner of Burrnah, speaking; at Rangoon, said that Burmah was being dragged into the vortex of European politics. His successors would soon have problems to solve equal to those presented in North West India.
