Death at the Wellington Hospital.

A MAN UNDER ARREST. Yesterday lnorniug a woman named Annie Friend was taken to the Hospital, Buffering from concussion of the brain, where she died shortly before two o'clock this morning. Charles Nicholson, with she had been living, was arrested for causing her grievous bodily harm. — Times. (Per Press Association). Wellington, This Day. An inquest on the woman Friend will be held to morrow afternoon. Nicholson was charged with the murder this morning and remanded till Friday.
