The Central Railway Route.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, March 80. Owing to the heavy rain the Auck« land members who have decided to explore the Stratford and Central railway routes, were unable to leave Te Kuiti on Friday morning. The weather having set in fine again, the party left this morning. In addition to Messrs Jennings, Crowther, Lang, Mr Shephard, of Hamilton, goes through. On Mr Hursthouse'a recommendation the Central route will be taken first, as there is some uncertainty about the condition of the Stratford track. Mr Hurathouse has placed two guides, Julian and Adams, at: the disposal of tne party. Adams' duties are to see members over, the Central route, while Julian's instructions are to go over the Stratford route from this end and meet the party at Stratford, bringing them back to Te Huiti. AU being well the expedition will reach Hunterville on Friday.
