Wantanui Education Board.

Ashurst— Letter from Committee applying for pupil teacher. Resolved to reply that they are entitled to one. Colyton-Nils Friberg, headmaster, applied for sick leave. Resolved to allow three month's sick leave, and one month's Bick pay Halcombe Application from Florence Clapham for cadetship. Resolved that Board has no vacancy. Applications— Application from A. England for appointment as a teacher. Eesolved that the Board regrets cannot offer employment. Letter from C. C. Hub bard applying for appointment ; resolved to reply that the Board sees no reason to alter the decision of the Executive Committee Bunnythorpe— Letter re cadet ; reBolved that the Board cannot appoint a cadet uuloss there was a suitable pupil in the school. n Sundry teachers' reports were aealt with, and the Board adjourned until this movnine. — Chronicle.
