(Per Press Association). Perth, February 8. An enormously rich discovery has been made in Hayes Bros' claim, near the White Feather Mine. A sample of 3001 be of stone, which had been brought in, contained i! 300 worth of gold, in addition to 2000oz8 of gold dollied. The stone is white quartz, with nuggets clinging to it. Several parties have left to peg out claims. This Day. Another parcel of 5 cwt of stone from Hayes Bros', new find yielded £3000 worth of gold. Further rich finds arc also reported at "White Feather, Ninety Mile and Haiptong Hands. Good alluvial gold was struck at the Pilbarra field •whence' six hundred ounces were brought in. The miners are forming a union for protection of their rights. A water supply scheme for Coolgardie and Dundas goldfields is being arranged.
