Pohangina Notes.
A meeting to consider the loan proposals will be held on the 16th February. A full-time school is being carried on here now The old school and the matter's residence have been removed here. The school picnic will be held on the 15th February. Messrs Abraham and Williams first sale will be held on 12th pros. I under* stand there are a good number of entries. Will those who have promised donations to the Hall Building Fund, kindly forward them to the collector or to the treasurer, Mr Welsh. Grass seed returns are fairly good. I hear that an enterprising lady resident in the district is to build an accomodation house shortly —Standard.
