The Borough Council have decided to communicate with Government suggesting that a department be opened in connection with the Government Life Insurance office to cover the liability of employers under the Employers' Liability Act. They have taken out a policy with the Accident Insurance Company for £16 annually, but decided not to deduct the amount from employees' wages.
