Wanganui Education Board.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Wanganui Education Board commenced last evening. Present —Messrs J. Notman (chairman), Bridge, Baker, Carson, Sanson, Fry, and Hurley. After the usual routine business had been transacted, the Board went into committee to consider the following. Pohangina — Resolved that if the fulltime attendance warrants it, a pupil teacher will be appointed. Waipuru — It was resolved that the | question of boundaries be referred to Messrs Fry and Sanson. The matter of teacher be left to the Executive. Patea — Resolved to reply to the committee that the Board had no alternative but to allow the term of Mr Flood's engagement to expire in the usual course. Bunnythorpe — The appointment of Miss Mowbray was confirmed. The Board then adjourned until ten o'clock this morning. — Chronicle.
