Grand Stand Handicap.— Variety 1, Kalnria 2, Bonovoree 3. Ladies' Bracelet. ■ Kauri Gum 1, Kahurangi 2, The Miser 3. ASHURST-POHANGINA, Maiden Hurdles.— Kaimaka 1. Flying Handicap.— Trickery 1, Fiuosse 2, Seabreeze 3. Gorge Handicap.— Gunboat 1, Pihanga 2, Hotspur 3. Siberia Handicap.— Mairua 1, Freewill 2, Roll Call 3. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, December 23. About 1000 people have left Wellington during the last two days by rail or steamer to enjoy the holidays in other parts, and a large number leave tomorrow. The principal attractions for Boxing Day are excursions to Picton, marine and railway excursions and annual cricket match between Christchurch and Wellington (Midland Clubs).
