Timber Export for London.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, December 20. Tho trial shipment of New Zealand timber for street paving purposes will bo sent Homo by tho s.s. Port Melbourne leaving here about the 12th prox. The Agent-General reports that the market at Home for this class of timber is very bare, and other information in possession of tho Industries Department shows that there- is a good demand for wood suitable for streot paving. The first shipment will consist of one hundred thousand feet, and will probably bo followed by other shipments.
