» Messrs F. R. Jackson and Co's Wanganui report :— We had a fair entry of stock at Waverley, and we sold nearly all out. At St. Hill street we disposed of the bulk. We quote : — Cattle — At Waverley — Three-year-old steers, L 3 10s to L4l3s; 2 year-old steers L 2 14s to L 3 ; cows, L 2 10s to L 3 : milch cows, L 4 13s to L 8 18s ; yearlings 32s Gd to 445. At Wanganui — Two-year-old steers, L 2 16s to L 3 12s 6d ; 3-year-old Bteers, L 4 4s ; cows, L 3 to L 5 2s. Sheep— At Waverley— Fat wethers 6a ; fat ewes, 8s lid to 9s , hoggets 8s 3d to Hs Gd. At Wanganui — Fat wethers, 9s 7d to 9s lid ; stores in wool, lis 6d ; fat ewes, 4s 6d to 7s 3d , fat lambs, 7s Pigs— Bacone.B, 42s to 44a ; porkers, 19s to 26s Od ; small pigs, 8s 9d to Ila 6d Poultry— Fowls, 8a to 4s, ducks, 3a 6d to 4s 6d, turkeys 8a to 12a 6d per pair
