The Recent Fatal Fire.
| Per Press Association-! Christchurch, This Day. At the inquest touching tho doath of Edward McGirr, one of the victims of the fire at St. Asaph street the evidence showed the four inmates of the house were all the worse for drink. Three of them lay down on the bed aud Taylor (the other victim) lighted a match, threw it down, and set the place on fire.
