Wesleyan Conference.
(Per Press Association. ft in kb, December 7. At the Wesleyan Synod to-day the financial matters were dealt with. A number of debt reductions were reported. The church at Hastings has been enlarged and it was expected that three new churches would be erected during the year. The consideration of the Mission and other connexional funds occupied a considerable time. The Sunday School secretary's report showed an increase of school teachers The Rev J. F. Griffin was appointed representative to the Con ference.
