Judge Denniston on Bankrupts.
(FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION!. Christchurch, December 4. At the Supreme Court to-day, Justice Denniston suspended for six and nine months respectively the discharges of two bankrupts who had carried on busi* ness for a considerable time after they had been practically bankrupt. He refused the discharge of a third bankrupt whose father had shortly before banksuptcy taken possession of a number of sheep and lambs, which his son had obtained from him partly in satisfaction of debt of eleven years old, and partly because they had not been paid for. His Honor remarked that it was of no use for the bankrupt to apply for his discharge until the sheep were where they honestly ought to be -
