Tho grand total of the sale was £1389 10s. The Government intend to procure immediately a couple of evaporating machines for tho drying of fruit. They will be used by the fruit exports during the coming season in affording to the fruit-growers whom they may visit iv their travels a practical demonstration of the approved method of utilising inferior fruit for the uiarkot.
