(Per Press Association.) Woodvillb, Ocol'er 30 The Premier was interviewed to-day regarding; several local matters, including a more efficient service when the railways come under Government control. The co-operative workmen complained of the management of th« Woodville-Eketahuna railway works, in that the price had been cut down so that they could not make wages. They alleged they had not been paid for certain work, and that the 3 did work without being acquainted with the price. The Premier replied that the complaints satisfied him the works were un : fairly managed and he would take steps to have an alteration made.
