Aratika School Examination.
This school was examined on sth October by Inspector Spencer. Mrs Howie, who has only been in oharge of the school for a few months, is to be congratulated on the satisfactory character oi the examination. The following are the results : - Standard I : Presented, 4 ; passed, 3. Standard II : Presented, 1 ; passed, 1. Standard III : Presented, 2 ; passed, 1. Standard IV : Presented, 3; passed, 3. Standard V: Presented, 2; passed, 0. Standard VI: Presented, 2; passed, 1. The following are the names of those who passed ; — Standard I.— Duncan Bell, Peter Brown, Lillie AUerby. Standard 11. - Sydney Grey. Standard 111. Sarah Allerby. Standard IV.— John Brown, Lizzie Allerby, Lncy Hislop. Standard VL -Robert Grey.
