[ This talented company of specialty , artisti appear at the Assembly Booms this evening. The Wairarapa Star speaking , of the company says " Although the \ weather was boisterous a very fair house witnessed the opening performance of the [ Moatague»Fredo Company, one of the most clever variety companies that has . ever visited the district. The perform- , ance was a varied one and the fact that . every item was vociferously encored I speaks volume* for the performers. The singing of Miss Mynton and Mr Salisbury , was of a first class order, and the legerde. , main and ventriloquism of Professor I Montague proved that gentleman to be in [ the front rank among illusionists and Ten- , triloquists, his merry family causing peals I of laughter by their funny witticisms. [ The main feature of the show was the I acrobatio performance, singing, and aoting of the young children (almost . babies) [ Bubbles and Lar, They are in fact a complete show in themselves and they . fairly captivated the audienoe with their funny antics, comic sayings and songs. , The trapeze work of Madame Fredo was , wonderful and has to be seen to be appro. , oiated. This lady includes among other , clever acts the difficult feat of holding a , trapeze in her month, herself hanging by her legs, while the children go through , some clever performances on the bar. The company is a really good one.
