(Per Press Association.) London, October 12. The weekly returns of the Bank of England, published to-day, show the total reserve to be £27,638,000, and the preportion of reserves to liabilities 6X'72. Three mouths bills are discounted at $d per cent. New Zealand 4 per cent, inscribed stock 106, 8§ percent ditto 101. New Zealand longberried wheat, ex warehouse, is flat at 245 ; South Australian and Victorian wheat, ex wharehouse, quiet at 25s and 23s 6d respectively. New Zealand frozen mutton, second quality, 2^d per lb ; lamb, first quality, Sd. The market is glutted.
