SPECIAL MEETING.
Proposed by Cr Ransom, seconded by Cr Masters, That a special order be now made as follows : —That a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the £ be struck over all the rateable property within the McDonnell Special Rating District, to pay interest and sinking fund upon a loan of .£2OO, under the Loans to Local Bodies Act, such rate to be an annually recurring rate for 26 years, payable in one sum on the Ist January in each year. — Carried. ' Proposed by Cr Ransom, seconded by Cr Taylor, That a special order bo now made to strike a special rato of five* sixteenths of a penny in the £ over all the rateable property within the Oroua Special Rating District, to provide interest and sinking fund upon a loan of JJ2.50 under the Loans to Local Bodies Act, such rate to be an annually recurripg rate for 26 years, payablo in one sum on the Ist January in each year. — Carried. Proposed by Cr Strang, seconded by Cr Rausom, That the chairman sign the balance-sheet, and that same be priuted. : —Carried. ,
