Cruel Outrages.

[PBX PRESS ASSOCIATION I Chhistchurch, Sept. 24. A singular outrage is reported from Elaiapoi. About a fortnight ago Messsrs Belcher and Sons, farmers, of Kaiapoi Island, found several pigs that had been running on their farm had died without any apparent cause. A i day or two afterwards three cows died from poisoning. On the same property ■ last week a valuable draught horse > was found with a hind leg shattered • and had to be destroyed. Yesterday morning a draught mare was found dead, having been stabbed through the lungs with a sharp instrument.
