Tke New Zealand Loan and Aler cantile Agency Company report on the Addington cattle market as under : — There was only a sparse supply of fat cattle to-day, and there wae good competition. Prime beef 24a per lOOlbs. There was a short entry of store and dairy cattle, and a fair demaud. Good eowa, £8 to £11. There were 1500 store sheep yarded, when there was a keen demand. Fair bopgets, 9s to 10s two-tooths, 12s 6d to 13s 6d. In fat sheep there was a full supply, 4700 being yarded. The market was easier. Crossbred wethers, 14s to 20s ; do ewes, 12s to 16s ; extra weights, 18a; meiino wethers, 9s to 15b ; extra, to 17s.
