Pohangina County Bill.
The Pohangina County Bill has been before the Local Bills Committee of the Legislative Council for the past two days, and the question of the advisability of allowing it to proceed was gone into exhaustively. Mr Pirani attended on both occasions, and spoke at soiDe length on the necessity for the Bill and its ecjuitableness. In the Legislative Council to-day, the Local Bills Committee reported tavorably on it, and the second reading is set down for to-morrow.— Standard.
