London, August 23 There is a serious split in the Irish Party owing to the Government postponing action against the House of Lords, The majority, including Mr Justin McCarthy, are in favor of waiting. On behalf of the Radicals, Mr J. H. Dalziel, M.P. for Kirkcaldy, with a view to protest against the attitude of the House of Lords upon Irish matters, moved in the House of Commons a reduction of tae vote for the services of the Upper House by .£20,000. The motion was defeated by 31 votes.
