The Pirates defeated the Bulls Club on Saturday by a try to nil. The winners now become the owners of the McKelvie Cup, having won it twice in succession. This afternoon the South Canterbury representatives meet Manawatu on the Showground, Palmerston. Looking at the result of the Wan ganui match on Saturday, Manawatu should win, although the game will be very interesting. Tho result will be posted outside tho Sxak office at about five o'clock A meeting of the Uuiou Football Club will be held at Mr Ross' room this eveniug, at 8 p.m.
