(PKB FRBBS ASSOCIATION. ) Londok, Julj 24» The British miners continue to mediate in the Scotch strike, and propose that recourse should bo had to arbitration to settle the strike. The shareholders in the New Zealand Trust and Loan Company have agreed to assign the uncalled capital as security for the debentures. The ship Colentrave, from Newcastle to San Francisco, is believed to be lost. The Wesleyan Conference rejected a proposal for the creation of an Order of Bishops in the Church.
