Kiwitea County Council.
Notice is given to-day b? the olerk to the Kiwitea County Council that certain special orders, with respect to striking rates for the payment of interest loans, will be confirmed at a special meeting of the Council to be held on Saturday, August 25th. The district over which the loans have been raised are enumerated, the amounts being £928 for the construction of Me Beth's aud Junction roads and £685 for the construction of Branch and Terrace roads in the Birmingham Special Settlement Block, and £2,571; for the construction of Kiwitea Crow* Peep-o'-Day and Bluff roads.
